The Senior Center Magazine is comprised of people who believe in our mission. The dedicated people on this page are just a few who make this publication possible. Our mission is: Dedicated to providing active seniors in our community with a publication that sends a positive message about how "Life Just Gets Better!"
Debra Saxon - Publisher
Debra started her career working with the senior community as the Activities Director at Preston Place Retirement in 2004. Almost immediately, Debra realized that there was a need for a publication for seniors which focuses on "how life gets better" as we age. With the help of her husband Greg, friends and family, The Senior Center Magazine became a reality in the Spring of 2011.
Greg Saxon - Art Director
Greg graduated from the Art Institute of Dallas with a degree and honors in 3D art in 2000. Greg has been a part of The Senior Center Magazine since inception and is committed to bringing a positive publication to our community. Greg and Debra have been married for 16 years, they have one son named, Jake and have known each other since the fourth grade.
Niki Rodolico - Communications Consultant
Niki has worked with the senior community for over 18 years, which includes positions in marketing as well as management. Niki came to The Senior Center Magazine through her work on the Alzheimer's Association Walk committee where she and Debra both volunteered. Niki is active in both the Marketing and Operartions for The Senior Center Magazine.
Julie Speer - Photographer
Julie has been a photographer in the Dallas area for more than two-decades. As a "Senior Portrait Specialist," Julie and Debra met at Preston Place Retirement in 2004 where Julie began photographing the residents for special events and their directory.
Sharing the same passion for seniors and the vision that together they could create a publication for active seniors in the Dallas area, Julie and Debra quickly became friends and colleagues.
Micki Sander - Editor and Contributing Writer
Micki is the past Editor of Travel Navigator, former Travel Editor of Avid Golf Magazine, Womens Golf Magazine, Texas and Women's Editor of the PGA Magazine, Fore Texas and produced The Golfspot Radio Show. Micki is a free lance writer with articles published in the New York Times of Westchester Magazine and Florida Golf.
Micki is also the President of The Golfspot, a golf travel company which she and her husband, Bob Sander own and operate.
Belinda Hil - Director of Sales and Marketing
Belinda Hill comes to The Senior Center Magazine via the senior housing industry. She has been in Sales and Marketing most of her career as has worked for The Dallas Morning News as well as the Plano Star Courier in Advertsing Sales.
Belinda brings with her a passion for the sales process and most importantly a passion for our senior community. She is married to her high school sweetheart, Bill and they have four children between them.
